Does 2,4 MHz motherboard fits to 2,26 MHz MacBook Pro?

I have 2,4 MHz Macbook Pro 13" unibody with broken motherboard. Can I replace it with 2,26 MHz motherboard from Macbook Pro 13" unibody? Does it fit?

Probably not but the 2.66 GHz Apple part number 661-5560 will drop right in. My question is: your machine is still covered under warranty, what happened and why do you think the logic board is bad?

Macbook got milk on it and the service said that the logicboard is off.

First thing you need to do is a search for 661-5559 and 661-5560 this will give you a very good idea of your repair costs if JUST the logic board needs to be replaced. This machine in the 2.4 is $1199 and 2.66 is $1499 new from the Apple store. The cost to repair your machine with a refurbish logic board will exceed the cost of a new machine. With a bad board your machine is totaled. What you really need is a technician that knows how to write up an insurance report. Your homeowners or Tenants policy will most likely have a deductible of $500

What would be the problem with 2,26 GHz logic board? Isn't it same size or what? Ifixit.com says that all unibody 13" MBP have same uppercase, so the srew's places should be same anyway.
