After turn-on by remote control TV for a while shows beginning picture on the screen and then it restarts again and again with clicks. Remote control not working. I must unplugg TV manually.
I was trying to run it without connection with other devices (computer, DVD etc.) but without success.
Model: UE40F6500SSXXH. SAMSUNG.

My Samsung tv started turning off and on on its own. I disconnected the Wi-Fi and it seems to have stopped.

I have heard of this as well but never seen it myself.
I'm thinking I have to buy a new tv

I would be looking at a problem with the power supply. There are a few voltages required for proper operation: 1) Main power (likely to be 12V) to start the majority of the TV and 2) 5V which will cover the logic portion of the boards. There are fail-safes built in that will shutdown the TV if the voltages drop too far. Also, once the 5V line drops too far, the CPU can get confused and all bets are off...
If you are not comfortable with opening up the set, have a service individual provide you with an estimate. You may find that changing a few parts on the power supply board will fix the problem.

I took off the bag plate on my tv and the turning on and off by it self stopped so now im using it without the plate xD

@fieloryb what happens when you remove the battery from the remote and just use the buttons on the TV? Does it still do the same thing?

I only found one button on the back of tv - ON/OFF. This button is not working. I can't turn off TV with this button. I have checked the batteries by using remote control with my mobile phone (it shows how remote control working when you use camera from mobile phone). I think the batteries are OK. Tomorrow I can change them.

@fieloryb remove teh batteries once you turn the TV on. See if that stops your TV from acting up. There is always a chance that the remote is causing this. Right now it sounds like the IR board or the button board that has failed.

1. I turned on TV by pushing ON/OFF button on the back side of TV without remote control and without succcess.
This failure has been for the first time when I put HDMI plug into computer when Tv was turn on.

My tv automatically started shutting off last night every few minutes now it will not turn back on by using the button or the remote. Is this fixable?
