I recently horrible cracked my Huwei P9 glass screen and I want to buy the parts before going to a repair shop as it is overpriced if I just go immediately to the shop without bringing repair parts. However, I'm not sure whether I should buy a LCD display or a glass screen or digitizer. (what is a digitiser?)

Your best bet is getting the whole Digitizer+Display assembly. This one comes with tools.

You will also need double sided tape to attach it to the phone.

The lcd you suggest is already attached to the frame... So he/she won't need the adhesive. It is indeed best to buy a LCD+digitizer and if possible already glued to the frame. Because if you do not glue the screen correct in place it's possible that it will come lose and that's annoying af.
@pwillaert If OP doesn't need adhesive, how does the frame attach to the rest of the phone?
He's right though, the part you linked is the LCD that is preassembled with the frame.
@benjamen50 no argument. Its a legitimate question. How does the frame reattach to the phone?
The back metal cover just clips in. All held in by clips around the phone.
