Why can't I see anything on my screen? (Nothing displays)

Hello, I've recently had trouble with turning on my tablet. I know it is on because the SD card area usually gets warm. But nothing shows up. So I was charging my tablet and my stupidity lead to me pressing with a little force in the screen (screen displayed charging level) when I was trying to boot it. The screen went black and I couldn't turn it on. How do I go about fixing it without spending money on a new LCD? Thanks, in advance.

-Mike

EDIT: Here is the photo. I have no idea how to remove the LCD without breaking it (Just in case there was a loose cable)

Mike Volt this "pressing with a little force in the screen ". "The screen went black and I couldn't turn it on." sounds like a bad LCD display. If so, there is no way to repair this without spending any money. Replace the screen by using these guides Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. A new LCD is available for +$60USD at multiple places.

How do I go about removing the LCD? It only says stuff about the digitizer.

Wait this just means my tablet is outright defective. On top of the LCD is the battery heating up and reboot issue.

Mike Volt "battery heating up and reboot issue." for that replace the battery. Removing the digitizer will leave you with only the LCD and the plastic frame. Or you can replace the complete assembly with something like this

So now I'm a little stuck, I removed the digitizer (kept adhesive intact) but now I'm clueless as how to remove the LCD

Mike Volt post some images and let us see where you are so far and where you are stuck. Use this guide iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 for that
