@juniordog1 sounds to me like your Cadillac is having issues with either the window regulator or the electrical motor. Use the attached part of a repair manual to check on those things. Cadillac-Doors.pdf

Agreed. This happened on my Audi, driver side only. I would assist by pushing up on the glass. Funny but it only happened during cold months.
