My laptop is acting strange, when a I remove the battery and plug the ac cord can not be turn on, as is no ac power is connected, I disconnect and connect the ac power until the blue leds turn on and then it starts up normally windows xp, but all of a sudden it shutdowns turning off everything.
please help to determine if this is a motherboard issue.

armando, you might just have a battery that is not being charge or not holding a charge. Check the troubleshooting instruction out on here Toshiba Satellite M45 Troubleshooting and let us know if that is helping you out and if not get back on here so we can further assist you. Good Luck

No with the battery it won't turn on
