Based on the threads here, I've noticed that it seems I cannot change the GPU in this machine.
That being said, can I run a second drive in this machine like the 27" models? I would like to run a SSD for boot drive and keep the factory installed HDD.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

There's no room or spare SATA input to do it on the 21" model.

Ok then. How about if I replace the HDD with a SSD, then put the OEM HDD in an external case connected by Firewire? (I do want to keep my ODD)
That should work great. Or put the optical in an external firewire and use a hard drive adapter.
