syncmaster 943bwx red lines over black screen
My monitor has perfect colors except for black which is covered in horizontal red lines, does anyone know of this problem

Brian, check your connections going to the monitor. Not sure what you have it plugged into but also ensure that your video card is okay. Do you have another monitor so you could verify that. I do know that there are issue with broken cables and loose connections that can cause these issues. Try wiggling the cable to see if it makes a difference. Worst case scenario is that you may have to open up the monitor to check for any loose connections on the inside of the monitor.
