My touch screen arrow wont move when I try to slide it

so my touch screen seems to be failing.my return arrow hasnt worked in a while but i got arround that.now the green arrow that has the lock on it wont slide.thats a problem.is there a way around it/

It sounds to me like your digitizer is failing. Not sure which one you have I hope this will help http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droid-A85... and here is an instructional video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6d7ETMfgq... . Not a bad price and looks like a straight forward operation. Good luck and let us know how it is going.
