After motherboard replacement, Battery not being detected.
Hey guys, I got a new motherboard put into my macbook pro. I had spilled water on my macbook and the battery stopped being recognized and the entire computer ran very slow. After researching some, everybody suggested new motherboard. So I installed the new motherboard and I am still having the same problem. The computer runs much faster now and works correctly, however the battery is still not being detected. I've tried multiple batteries as well as ran the Apple Diagnostic tool and no errors were found. Any ideas?
Did you replace the DC-in as well? What exactly do you mean by "not being detected"? What color is the light on the DC-in? Does it turn amber when you connect a known-good battery?

It turns a solid green and no I have not replaced the DC in port.

Disconnect the battery level indicator and test again.
(Also please tell me you tried a different "known good" battery with the old before replacing the entire mother board? Not just after replacing the board).
And where are you located? You still have the damaged board?

Please tell us exactly which MBP you have.

Hello everyone. Sorry this project had to be set on the back burner. I have now replaced the MagSafe and the light is still green. The battery is still not detected. Ok we are new motherboard and new MagSafe connecter in and still no fix MacBook Pro 2011 13” still not reading that there is a battery installed.
