Phone wont turn on

So I have an LG G5. Phone fell one day and now it refuses to charge or switch on. had it checked by someone, and they reckon the charging port is still in tact and the battery still has charge (how can i verify this myself, i do own a multimeter?).

We have tried another battery, and that hasnt worked either.

Any ideas as to what the issue may be?

Addition: the phone doesnt even vibrate when holding the power switch on. its completely bricked and un-responsive.
