Motherboard replacement aftersScreen replacement failure?

After breaking screen of my Iphone 6 I decided to change the screen by myself and managed to fail and break the phone even more. I think that I most likely mixed up the screws and got so called long screw damage. It is also possible that I forgot to unhook the battery on my first try to change the screen and that caused the problem with battery voltage. So this leads to my question that is will the replacement of the motherboard (with new motherboard) fix my problem when it comes to possible long screw damage or battery caused damage?

I mean...it will...it's expensive, and basically like getting a new phone. Not to mention sourcing a reliable board. Too easy to get an Apple ID locked board. Also if you have committed lsd, the repair is far from easy. Sorry, just lettin ya know how it is

If you are certain you caused long screw damage, it can still be repaired in most cases. You can find a micro soldering tech local or here on the Ifixit Pro board. If you shorted out a backlight circuit and phone works still, you can find out by flashing a flashlight on the screen when powering it up to see if you can still see a faint image and that too is repairable.

If you decided to opt for a replacement board, yours still holds value and could be sold and used as either a parts board or even a repair and resell so you don't lose 100% of its value by tossing it out :)
