Weird freezing issue after screen repair

I work for a repair shop and I had someone bring me an iphone 7+ with a cracked screen. The LCD was not damaged just the glass was cracked. I do not have the ability to replace just the glass so I replaced the whole screen. After the repair when I powered the device on it appeared to be stuck in a boot loop. After a few minutes the phone finally boots up(this happens every time you turn the device on). Now things start getting really weird, when ever i open a app the phone freezes up to where you cant swipe the screen and the power/volume button stops working. After about 30 seconds the app will open and while in the app everything works fine. Once you back out of the app and try to open another app the same thing happens. At first I thought it was the screen that was causing the issue so I tried two more of my screens and even tried putting the original screen back on but the same problems persist. I tried to updated the phone to the newest os and I have reset the phone using the power and volume button but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any idea what happened or know anyway this can be fixed?

You might have damaged the motherboard in this while changing the screen. Were you grounded properly? I would suggest checking all the connections on the motherboard itself and unplugging and plugging everything back in. I'm almost fairly certain its something with the motherboard.

Hello, I have the same exact problem, not only am I having this problem, but my I cant play any videos and my phone doesn't play any sound, not sure if that has anything to do with it freezing. It's getting extremely annoying because not only can I not listen to music or watch any videos, it freezes every time I open the app. The phone also freezes when I change anything in the Control Center like the screen brightness, wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode, and etc. It also freezes when I'm in Sufari and pages are loading, and it often just crashes. One tip I have -> the thing that lets you have the home button on your screen (because mines broke), and when I go through Device<More<Multitasking the app will open instantly without the freezing. But that only helps if you have the app already open from before. I don't know if any of this information helps, but I hope someone can help.
