Different LCD Ribbon Connector Type

Hello every one,

Ref: iPod Video 5th gen 30GB (A1136) and iPod Classic 80GB (A1238).

Question: Have anyone realized iPod Video and iPod Classic LCD ribbon connectors are NOT identical?

Story: So I've purchased 2 LCD panels for my iPods from one of the online stores. The seller confirmed the LCD should work on iPod Video and Classic and I've received 2 identical LCDs few days ago. iPod Classic accepted the new LCD ribbon connector and its working properly. But the ribbon cable connector on iPod Video 30GB's logic board seems just a little smaller than iPod Classic hence I'm unable to connect the new LCD to the logic board of iPod Video 30GB. It seems both iPod Video and iPod Classic LCD connectors on logic board are identical (visual inspection).

I've checked all over internet for iPod Video LCD with different keywords but all listings comes as generic LCD for 30, 60, 80, 120GB ipods. Anyways I'm willing to spend another 20ish $$ for the right part.

Can anyone have similar experience? Know a place to buy this online?
