Touchpad seems slow and sluggish
How do I test the touchpad because it seems stuck sometimes. Is it replaced by replacing the upper case?

It looks like the problem is an old battery. Apparently as they age they swell and push up from below and affect the Touckpad.
Replaced the battery....problem solved.

Try going under the system preferences, go to trackpad, and adjust the settings as you see fit.

Yeah, it might be that the cursor speed is set too low for your liking.
