@cmeyer0922 not quite sure what you are looking at. It sounds like your bezel is cracked. To verify this, post some images of what you are looking at, with your question. Use this guide iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 for that.
If it is the bezel alone, use this video. Slightly different model same idea.
If it is that the hinges are actually braking the case/frame then you should get this covered under warranty. After all the GE72 should still be pretty new.
