Loose screen... can feel it going up and down on pressing and touch

Hi..

I took a second hand refurb iPhone 5C from a guy really cheap. Its screen is bit loose like i can feel it going up and down on touch on upper right and lower corner. Screen touch gets erratic every once in a while. turning and on screen solves that for few minutes. I have tried reattaching the screen and cleaning the connectors with alcohol too. but the problem continues.. any kind of help will be appreciated.

PS: opening iphone i found out screen connector metallic bracket is missing too. could that be a problem??

Please.. any kind of suggestion are welcomed.. i know its a screwed up iPhone. but i want to give it a new life :)

Update: So, I covered the metallic back part of the screen with tape and it seems to be working till now.. any comments :D

I would try a new LCD and replace the glasses glue and see if that fixes anything and the missing bracket can cause a problem. I would just buy the glue and the bracket and see if that helps.

Thanks Walker! Can you please explain me about glue of glass? I am trying to find Bracket.. but bit out of luck in local market. online its bit expensive because of shipping.

Well its not glue I was thinking of a Samsung .Sorry lol. It adhesive so I would buy adhesive and see if that helps! And I'll keep my eye out for a cheap bracket.

Well if you look up on YouTube how to replace iPhone 5c glass it will take you through all the steps you'll need and will show you were the adhesive goes

Oh.. you meant that way.. i think its whole screen structure.. as the whole screen goes up and down. glass doesn't seem to be a problem. but can it effect the touch?? as touch works perfectly foine for 10-15 min then it goes erratic.

From your post I get the notion that you have opened it up right? If not, it could be that the battery has swollen a bit and is pushing the screen out.

Thanks Stumer! but battery is perfectly fine! that was my first doubt too. but on checking battery is still in perfect shape.

Sounds like you just have a poor quality screen installed.

Try a new screen assembly. Make sure to check the housing for any bends or twists first and then install.

Thanks Jason.. The screen prices are different for their EU store and over priced. So, i would not go for this screen.
