Possible TCON board issue - screen black except for area in middle
Hi
My Palsonic TV only displays a small area of the picture in the centre of the screen.
I can see lights in the back of the unit, the sound works fine and I can see images on the screen when using the flashlight test.
I've done some research which tells me the first thing I should replace is the TCON board. Problem is, I can't seem to find a part number for it so I can replace it.
Does this sound like it is the TCON board and if so - do you know the part number and rougly a cost please?

@deechickie could be but it is not very descriptive. Best you can do is to attach a view pictures of what your screen displays. that way we can see what you see. Use this guide iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 for that.
