During updates my phone reboots constantly
I often get messages that indicate that the sim card has been removed when it has not

Yes, it gets stuck in an elongated update loop. Eventually, usually after a half hour, it will fully boot up and that is when I get the message that the sim card was incorrectly removed.

Could you provide a bit more information?
Is your phone stuck in an update loop?
Does it always say the sim card has been removed during the restart?
