My rca tablet keeps freezing

Theresa, From forums I have read your issue could be corrupt Apps/software and it is suggested to do a factory reset to get it out of the freeze. Below are links telling how to do a factory reset( you will lose all stored data when doing this reset). Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I turn it off but it didn't work
Did u hold volume and power at the same time. Its just a hard reset. Follow the steps to factory reset if hard reset doesnt work
I disagree. There is a problem, yes. But erasing everything only works for a minute, then right back to the same problem.. Not a solution. Just a band aid for temp relief. Need real solutions. Thnx!
If tablet makers wouldn't keep making cheap crap maybe consumers who buy their crap would have better experiences.
Got RCA 4 core tablet and it can't tell us what apps are corrupt or constantly giving problems. RCA can't include a program to easily check what apps are at fault.
Deleting everything not a answer in today's computer world.
It's up to us to clean the entire system of both good and bad apps.

Hold the power button and the volume button does a hard reset. I have the freeze up issue with my rca voyager III and hard reset it acts up a couple more times then its fine. Try this before u factory reset. Because factory reset isnt always the answer.

Haha David Bridges!! Your wife sounds like my sister ! She was ready to do the same (smash in a million pieces)when her dell had a black screen- that was just a breeze to fix-(hold control/alt/delete!! ) she thought I was a real genius!!! Lol

i have an rca pro 12. the volume button is on the keyboard it’s a 2 in 1. there is no volume button on the tablet part.

One has to wonder if App developers fully understand the android platform. They make these apps probably 1000 of them a day. Do they know how to make their apps compatible? Another pet peeve are so called malware apps and wifi signal strength apps. Just what do malware apps really do? What do signal strength apps do? There is no real noticable effect or improvement.

I have this problem to a got o e for my 3 year old it’s not even a week old she’s only got 3 kids app on it and it keeps crashing !! Av hit the reset button on the back everything even master reset it nothing works !
