Why is my alternator not charging

Mike Beltz, I assume you are talking about an alternator for a vehicle. If your alternator is not charging your battery and battery and all connections are good, chances are the alternators built in voltage regulator is faulty. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free alternator and battery testing, like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.
