Homebutton broken, Finger id working after replacement?

Hey guys,

the home button of my galaxy S6 won't work properly. It does recognize my finger id and unlock the phone, but nothing happens when i press the button.

My question is: Is the finger id sensor going to work normally if i would replace the home button?

I know from iphones, that the finger id is blockt with other buttons then the originally installed. Is this so with the galaxy S6?

Hi Lukas

For Samsung S6 the actual physical button is on the charging port. So all you need to do is replace the charging port and your id should work fine.

Cool. I already thought that i had to decide between finger print or homebutton function.
