1 Brand New LG K3 Not Powering On
I just bought a brand new LG K3 from best buy, and was excited to turn it on being the tech person I am....but to my surprise the phone did not power on! I thought it just needed to be charged. So I charged it for 2 and a half hours, and nothing. The only time something shows up on the screen is when the battery is removed and plugged into the wall. But then it just shows an insert battery sign. Is my brand new phone defective? Please Help!

It did something! Idk what I did but I tried to turn it on and it showed he battery loading screen but then shut off. Before it was nothing! If i plug the cord in while holding the power button it actually shows the lg logo for a couple of seconds but I cannot get it to turn on. Though if I put my phone close to my ear while charging I can hear a ticking sound......is that worrying? Anyways I have it charging now and I will check on it when I get home.

Any ideas? I got close when I got it to turn on for 5 secs showing the lg screen, it still does it but I have to hold the power button and plug it in. Only other sign of life is sometimes when I plug it in it shows a battery with a loading wheel for two secs then goes away....

I got it to boot into the imei display and stay while plugged in so I'm gonna leave it for an hour and a half then unplug it.....hopefully this works!

I still recommend returning it... Another problem may occur directly or indirectly related to this one.
