Hi walton, the adjustment should easily be made with the striker hook on the B pillar. Normally you can take a marker and mark the assembly location. Then loosen it and move it inward slightly and re tighten maintaining the original height. Check for fit and re adjust if needed. Do this in small steps so as to not further mis-allign your door. I am sure it will take a few attempts to get it right. It's possible you door hinge is worn as well allowing the door to pivot slightly when closed exacerbating the problem. You should check the front hinges of the door and look at the alignment of them. As for the gasket look closely and try to figure out how the parts were originally assembled. Is there residue suggesting the gasket was glued on, or was it more of a snap-together arrangement? If the latter, you can probably just work it back into place. If the rubber itself is torn, Krazy glue works well to join rubber to rubber. If it's torn from the door, use contact cement. Apply to both surfaces, let dry, then join carefully, making sure it's aligned and no wrinkles are trapped. Sometimes local body shops are of great assistance with that and might not charge an arm and a leg to help you with your problems. Good luck.
