The Photosmart 435 was a digital camera released by HP in August 2003. It has a 3.1MP resolution, and is powered by 2 AA batteries.

Old hp camera won't turn on, just flashes the 2 lights in the back

I put in 2 new batteries and a new 2gb sd card. I try turning it on, but it only flashes the 2 indicator lights on the back, and nothing else happens. What can I do?

What happens if you leave the SD Card out and start the camera? Is it only the viewfinder light then that is blinking. do you get an error message on the screen or does it start OK?

According to the user manual, SD Cards bigger in capacity than 128 MB (that's right MB not GB - a whole lot less capacity) are not guaranteed to work
