4 Device no signal. On, Odd operations
HEY GUYS
-Just wanted to post here, i am having an issue with my PS4. any help would be appreciated, thanks! I will start by saying that the Device powers on, and the Power supply emits 12 (11.93) volts fine. Relay clicks, and LED goes blue.
-There is NO SIGNAL on the television
-HOWEVER, i am unable to enter safe mode, and i can not put the device into recovery mode either.
-When i press and hold the button while its on, it skips the rest mode beep, and wont beep for approximately 14 seconds, then beeps turns it off.
-When i press and hold the button while its off, it beeps and turns on, but it will not give me the second beep for recovery mode anymore.
(((On and off are the only things i can do for this device)))
(((Please do not suggest recovery mode)))
- I have tried a different TV, and a Different HDMI Cable.
- i have opened the device, and checked for HDMI damage. none seen

-i have replaced the HDMI port. it did not fix the issue.
-Im chopping this down to board failure. If anyone is aware, or has experience with this particular issue, i would like to know the reasoning behind this issue, would it be an IC, or a coil failure? if so, i have the skillset to replace these. please let me know.

Im bumping this request incase anyone knows the answer.
Can you access it via the internet on a PC or a Sony smart phone (if you've enabled remote play)?

remote play is not enabled. unable to test theory.

Dang, could be a faulty HDMI port then?

i would have believed this, and i am perfectly willing to go through the resolder repair, as i have the part on order coming in now. i just wouldn't understand why there is no safe mode, or rest mode if it is the HDMI port. the two should not have a logical effect on eachother.

port came in the mail. put it in. still no signal.
