Battery Connector Pinout and Voltage

I have a Late 2008 MacBook Pro 15" with the removable cover on the back to where you can expose the battery. I noticed my Battery Is Not Charging. Under System Report it shows that it isn't even installed when it is. I've reset the SMC and PRAM and that didn't help. So at this point I didn't know if it was the Battery, Battery Connector, or Logic Board.

I wanted to test the voltage at the battery connector to see what is coming through the logic board to the battery connector but I don't know what the PINOUT and expected voltage is. I hope someone here can help me with that.

From what I can see (see attached picture), there are 5 pins. The middle 3 I get 3.1 to 3.4 volts out of. Looks like the others are ground.

The above is what I'm getting. Not sure what it is really supposed to be?

I ended up getting ahold of another battery and everything was fine. So it appears that the 3.1 volts I was getting in the above tests were correct and sufficient to charge the battery. Didn't appear to be a battery connector problem.

I have seen several problems relating to that battery connector plate. I would suggest checking it for corrosion and/or replacing it.
