@chrissy568132 , Chrissy you may loose all data if not backed up prior. You can try to factory reset. With tablet off, press and hold the power and volume up buttons simultaneously. Hold for 10-15 seconds, this should enter into boot menu. Then you will find an option to, Reset Factory default settings/reset user data. select this option. Device should now reset and clear password. May take a few minutes. Good luck.

You can go into google and search up password changer and fined a good one and it will let you change it.

Didn't work properly for me but thanks for sharing that advice. I depressed the tiny recessed reset button with a pin with the screen on which forced the reset. I'll have to set it up again but at least I can use it now.
It's not something used frequently so I forgot the pattern. I'll be using alternative security measures in future 🙄
