The Bose 3-2-1 Home Entertainment System is a series of DVD-based home media systems in the Bose 2.1 home theater line. The Bose 3-2-1 Home Entertainment System was sold between 2001 and 2006 and was available in black and graphite colors.
I have the bose 321 connect to tv with optical cable when i change channel the sound goes out .I push a different sourse on bose remote then back to tv the sound returns.
Has it worked properly before, when connected to this TV?
Does it happen when you first turn on the TV? Do you have to assign the TV as the source every time you first turn on the TV?
Does it happen if you connect using a different type of audio signal input e.g. analogue (RCA) or digital (Co-ax) and then interrupt the signal?
If it has worked properly before or even if it hasn't have you got access to another TV (or signal source) with optical audio output to prove if the problem is with your Bose system or with the TV.
Sorry about all the questions, just trying to narrow down the location and likely cause of the problem
