I have an Asus Win 8. All of a sudden it will not detect I have a zip drive "F". Any suggestions?

Hi,
Does it detect other external USB drives, etc. OK?
Have you checked that the zip drive works OK in another PC or laptop?
Have you tried a different cable with the drive to prove whether the cable is OK?
What have you tried?
What is the model number of your netbook?

Go to file options in file explorer. Select show hidden folders. Find your drive, and uncheck make file invisible. Hope this helps.
