Why is the display acting weirdly?

There is something fishy about the display of my PSP Go. What happens is that the screen tuns off whenever I slide the PSP. I can turn it on again if I hold the brightness button. It's not a big deal, mind you, but I'm afraid it's just the panel breaking down. So, is there something I can do?
