2 Why do my speakers sound muffled?
The sound coming out of my laptop is not clear, its sound quality is poor, and sometimes does not output sound at all.

The speaker is most likely blown. Blown speakers are a common thing for when music/sound is too loud for the speaker to handle. The only way to get the quality sound again is to replace the speaker. Unscrew the back of the device. Then locate the speakers and replace it.
