Why is my huawei not recognising any wifi when there is wifi?!?

So basically when I go into settings and turn my wifi (at my place were there is wifi working) and then when I turn I on it said available networks and it never gives out any wifi names or wifi either! Please can you help me find what I have to do because this subject is driver me MAD so PLEASE HELP ME! Thank you very much can u get. Back to me by Thursday or Friday but I really need it on Thursday tho so please .......
