Why won't my nook power on completely?
Every time I turn it on, my nook says do not turn off because it's installing new software. But then it says please restart your device and try again. When I do, nothing changes. What do I do?

Have you tried a force reset.
Hold the power & home button at the same time until you get "power down" screen turn off wait 20 seconds and turn back on.

The tablet is already off, it's trying to get it to turn back on without getting an error message that's the problem. But I have already tried pushing the power and home button at the same time and it won't work.
