I purchased a used iPhone 6 to try my luck at repairing. The previous owner stated that the ear speaker and the mic didn't work and the screen was busted. I replaced the screen/LCD assembly which came with a new ear speaker and I also installed a loud speaker just in case. I still cannot hear out of the ear piece and the mic isn't picking up anything.

Try a new front cam flex cable with mic. The connection for the earpiece might be bad on the flex cable. Hence why the two earpieces are not working.

Thanks for the input I'll give it a try. It started working after I played music on the loud speaker but it's touch and go. I'll order that part now thanks
