I bought two optical drives for my playstation 4 because the drive won't accept discs due to maybe a bad sensor or damaged mechanisms, I changed the board from the old optical drive to the new ones and installed, but the playstation won't turn on with the new ones, it does turn on with the old one...
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is the new drive the same model as the original one? Typically with keyed drive replacements, the replacement unit has to be the same model and type as the original, in addition to the drive board replacement.

It's a replacement for CUH-1115A, The ones I bought are KEM-490, I'm not sure which laser lens are installed in the original one, but I doubt they have something to do with it...
Apart from the playstation model, where else do I seek for the model and type of the drive? The ones I bought fit in perfectly, but the playstation won't turn on at all with the new ones.
Is there a number on the daughter board? There should be one there that says something like BDP-###
It says BDP - 015, the new optical drives don't come with daughter boards.
From what I'm seeing online, that BDP number on the daughter board is the one to follow looking for a replacement drive. If you can go back to where you bought them, the number could be in the description.
