I replaced my Charging Port, now some screen parts wont work

Hello, I mistakenly removed the charging port while trying to remove the charger.

So I opted to have it replaced.

After the replacement, some parts of the screen wont work properly like while trying to type, some characters will not even press.

This kept on and even expanding to the point that only a vertical line about the width of my thumb press will work.

I dont know if replacing the screen will fix the problem or is it a problem with the charging port. I'll like to know before I purchase a replacement screen.

Replace the Digitizer. If you're still getting a picture then the problem lies within the Digitizer. I would recommend that you purchase the glass and digitizer already put together as its hard as a motherfu**er to adhere them.

If I may ask, what do U mean by the glass and digitizer, do I still need to get a screen replacement of just some part of the whole screen replacement.

I'll appreciate if I can get a link to buy on aliexpress or amazon.

Digitizer is the touch screen. Anyway do not attempt to try to replace digitizer only. It's practically impossible unless you have tools that cost a lot more than the phone.

The part that needs to be replaced is LCD display which should come with digitizer as they are fused together.

Note that you will need to buy separate screen adhesive to put it on.
