Why's do my playlists and music keep disappearing?

My playlists and music just randomly disappear and I have to go download them again, at the moment I'm unable to get my playlists back even with a connection to iTunes on my laptop. This is getting very frustrating! Apple doesn't seem to be able to fix it either.
