Is there anyway to replace or repair the memory card slot

Hey, recently my fiancee dropped my vita and when I turned it on to see if it was okay it said that it had trouble reading the memory card. After I turned it off completely and removed the memory card then reinserted it and turned the system on. All my data was gone. Then I repeated the process this time after it turned on all my data was back. I took it to a store where I buy used games and the guys there are decent repairmen but after I left it to get looked at the guys there said they couldn't solder on another memory card slot because the points are to small. I'm not really experienced in soldering but I have a basic knowledge of how to do its any one have the same experience after their vita was dropped? Or anyone ever fix this problem

If the memory card reader is actually broken off of the motherboard in it, you would need to replace that but there would also be a good chance that the pads may be torn from the board (borderline unrepairable, requires a steady hand and a lot of skill) However, what may have happened is just the pins inside may be bent out of shape. If you can, first remove the battery, then find a longer thin screwdriver and put it in the memory card slot and see if you can ever so slightly bend those pins back into shape (towards where the contacts on the memory card would be). DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU CANT REMOVE THE BATTERY, you may short other things out on the board making your problem worse.
