How do I unlock my phone so I can donate it?
I bought a broken 5c from a client and refurbished it now I'm looking to give it to another person who uses boost mobile. how do i go about switching the carriers?

Is there a way I can check without u locking the phone? The person who gave it to me is deactivating the validation soon
There are so many questions here. Do you have the code to open the phone? If so, you can look in the settings to find out the carrier. What validation is your friend deactivating? The iCloud activation? Is it iCloud locked? There is not enough information here.
