push start button light go's white then go's off

i thought that it was the power supply so installed a refurbsed one an did the same thing. were should i look next. nothing on the moniter almost like its still not geting power.

RESEATED VIDEO, shut mac down unplug for 15 sec.. tryed again same results. i'll ck to see if the logi boards getn enough voltage

Here is a link to the Apple troubleshooting light meanings. If this does not help you need to find a copy of the AHT disk for your computer and try to run the diagnostic test. Are you hearing any sound--seeing any lights?

when i plug mac in i hear a type of click sound toward the plug end.when i hit on button sounds like its gona boot but dosn't. the fans start button lite gos on then off. if i let it pluged in the fans sound like they want to fly???

This is from official Apple sources

1. Reseat the video card

2. Reset the logic board ( shut down, unplug, wait 15 seconds, plug back in

3, Verify that the power cables are fully connected

4. Check for trickle voltage (see next for instructions on this and a host of other diagnostics (I just found this and it's great)
