I log onto my laptop it shows the dell logo then after a few seconds it says preparing automatic repair.. Then it goes to a black screen & just stays there. F2 doesn open up & f8+shift+power doesn't fix it..taking out te battery doesn't fix it & turning it on ad off doesn't fix it either. With the f8+shift+power button is shows 1 error & it's the hard drive 0... Can someone help me with this?

@chrisc15 could be caused by a failed hard drive. Access your BIOS and set the boot record to either optical drive or USB drive and get a boot disk you can use. Something like Puppy Linux Live CD should work. If that gets you access to your computer you know you have a failed drive.

How do I access the BIOS? My fried said to peer th F# key that pops up on the screen but not F key pops up during the startup..
@chrisc15 what exact model is your laptop?
Uhmm... I'm not sure... All it is is Inspiron 15 & also AMD A6 on the laptop..
Also windows 10
try this Press "F2" when the opening screen appears. Timing is difficult, so you may wish to repeatedly press"F2" until you see the message "Entering Setup."
