MacBook Pro won't start after replacing MagSafe port
After following the instructions to replace the Magsafe port the computer started right up and connector indicator light was lit. I went through a shutdown on the computer and now it won't restart and the magsafe connector is not lit. I started this project with a dead battery and have rechecked all my connections. Any suggestions?
What was the reason in replacing the dc-in magsafe?

Sounds like an eBay part.

Laptop would not charge so replaced dc-in port. Purchased replacement part from ifixit. It initially worked, but after the computer was shutdown it no longer charged.
