Recently, my phone's battery was bloating and eventually the whole phone got turned off.
Then I went to get a battery and LCD digitizer to replace but the phone still isn't able to be turned on. Can someone help me please? Is there a way to find out if any other component is not working? I worry that the logic board might be spoilt due to the bloating etc. Thanks in advance! :)

its power ic maybe damaged due to high current from battery so must check power ic

any idea how do i check the power ic mate?
you first turn on with using other display, if not on. should connect power source then check output of power management ic out pin, if you not know about that just download that phones circuit or block or schematic diagram it will help you ...
No, not at all. When a battery is bloated, it doesn't fry the PMIC. If anything, the U2 IC is damaged.

Unplug the battery and plug the phone into a wall charger. See if the phone shows any display. If not then the screen is probably faulty and most likely needs to be replaced.

i tried tat and it doesn't show any display but i doubt it's the screen problem as it's new and even if this is so, i should be able to mute the phone etc.
