Is Epson L565 only able to print A4 and Legal?

I've been trying to print "Letter size | 8.50 x 11" in this printer but it keeps readjusting and messing up the border. But, when I tried to print in "Legal Size" and "A4", it prints the same as the file I formatted it as. I tried everything but it just doesn't print the same. I checked the printer's Displays Menu and I saw that there are only "Legal" and "A4" sizes to choose from. (I tried using Epson L360, and it prints fine)

Is there a way to fix this or is this printer really just for those 2 sizes?

My L565, just cannot copy direct from the printer. Same problem, paper size even though A4 papers are already in the tray.

I can't print legal size with L565 using my printer. The legal size doesn't appear in the printer properties, how can I add it??

Elaine Liis the L565 is able to print on the following paper formats:

A4, A5, A6, B5, C6 (Envelope), DL (Envelope), No. 10 (Envelope), Letter, 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18cm, 16:9, User defined, Legal. So it is not the printer that limits this.

This sounds like either a setting conflict between your computer and your printer. Make sure that they are set for the same paper. If you "it prints the same as the file I formatted it as." set the document up as a "legal" paper document it will try to print it as such. Change the format of the document within your application and try it.

This is not a printer limitation or fault.

Same problem here. I tried the what you suggest but still it only prints in A4.

same problem. tried doing everything including what you said but it only prints a4 and letter size not legal. trying to match everything from the paper lay out and printer properties is not possible since the only choice is letter and a4. I can adjust the paper setting into custom which is 8.5"x13" but when adjusting printing properties, it cannot be customized even when using advanced settings.

Hi @maemesias,

Are you using the correct Epson L565 drivers for your particular computer OS or for example in the case of Windows are you using the generic Windows drivers for your printer?

The problem is in the machine itself. it has no letter size in the copy mode. only A4, A5, and Legal. So i cannot use letter size for duplex copying.

Do we really need to change paper set up in L565 every time we change paper size? is there any way it will automatically copy the paper setup set in our PC.
