Xbox power suppy is orange untill it plugs into Xbox One

My Xbox One is not turning on. When I plug the power supply only into the wall i have a solid orange light on the brick appears. As soon as i plug it into the Xbox the light turns completely off, no turning white, no flashing and Xbox wont start.

PLEASE HELP

It was still under warranty but Microsoft wouldn't fix claiming that it was tampered with. Which it was not tampered with so i have a dispute on the claim but there saying it will take up to 2 weeks to resolve (and there probably going to say that im screwed) So if anyone can help I'd be super grateful
