1 How to replace broken hinges on "LCD" screen?
I have a old Compaq Presario 1800T laptop with broken hinges on the 15" LCD screen. What are the step by step instructions in replacing the hinges?

1st step is buy some hinges which you can get of ebay, buy a pair and replace both. The price for a pair of hinges is around £20-£30.
1. Remove rubber grommets from around laptop screen.
2. Remove all screws from laptop screen bezel.
3. Gently prize off laptop screen bezel.
4. Remove screws froms hinges and detach hinges from screen.
5. Replace hinges
