iPhone Restore Loop After Battery Change (red & blue screen)
Hi there! So i have an iPhone 5s that i recently got from a friend, and he put in a 5$ Chinese battery that doesn't have a serial number or anything. It's really sketchy and im not sure what to do, but the iPhone is stuck in recovery mode, I've tried everything, holding the + volume button, home + power + home, EVERYTHING. Ive tried RecBoot, iRecovery, and so many other things. Basically when i do get iTunes to recognize that its in recovery mode, it gets half way and shows me either a 4013, 2001, or 9 error and the screen turns either blue or red and goes back to the apple logo, its a A1533 iPhone 5S, iOS 9.2.1 was the last "known" software on it and ive tried opening it and disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, i need someone elses help and i'd really really appreciate it, thanks.
PS just to clear up i just want to restore the phone i don't need to keep any data.
Use another battery. iPhones do not restore successfully if you have a bad quality battery plugged in.

thats the next thing i was going to try, but wasnt sure if it was worth the 35$ ifixit is selling, would you recommend the iFixit one? thanks
