Acer Aspire 4810TZ will not turn after hibernation.

Last night I put my Acer Aspire 4810TZ to hibernate and today, approx. 10 hours later, I tried to turn it on and nothing happens. When the charger is plugged in the charging light turns on to indicate it is charging (orange) but other than that it is completely unresponsive.

I have tried removing the battery and plugging it into the power source like that and still nothing happens.

I read somewhere that hibernation mode can cause prolonged periods of unresponsiveness in Acer Aspires and that it should be disabled but I couldn't find any information on how to get it to turn on.
