New original battery but still drain fast

HI everyone ...

long story short ..i was charging my iphone 5s in my car then suddenly IT got really hot so as the USB cable and wouldn't accept charging .i changed the charging port and the phone accepted the charging but the battery drains so fast .. i bought 2 new original apple battery and another hi-Tec battery and after trying both still the battery drain

software been updated and phone was reset on i-tunes

Still the same problem ..battery drain (I AM GOING CRAZY ) thanks for your help

Before going deeper into maybe board repair I would buy an iFixit battery. They are awesome and it is a great way to make sure that is not the problem.

thanks very much for your reply ...iam sure that the two new batteries i tried is a genuine product of apple and another high quality battery ..by now iam sure its not a battery issue ..if you can advise me what exactly in the mother board that might be affected i will be really grateful.thanks in advance

@vito1111 There are lots of people who will claim to make legitimate or "OEM" parts. There's no telling where they get this parts from, if they're safe, or compatible.

iFixit batteries are reliable in my opinion. Guessing charging or power IC chip is at fault. I don't know where these are located on the logic board.

hmmmm,

car charger/hot/changed dock/changed batteries.

i suspect power U2IC. would need a board repair specialist. not just someone who can solder.

however try this first as its generally the best indication. connect to power while you have the battery disconnected . it should boot to apple logo . if nothing appears then i would be pretty certain thats what it is.

let me know your findings .

its very common especially with car chargers and non genuine apple cables

I agree, it happens quite often with bad quality charger. U2 IC should be replaced, job for a good technician. I had the same issue with mine, after replacing it worked perfect again.
